What is an affiliate?

An affiliate is a broker, website, company, industry association, or individual that promotes the products or services of another company in return for a commission. Affiliate programmes and networks are widely used, especially over the internet. They can operate across many different industries, including the freight and transport industry.

Who can become an affiliate of www.e-go.com.au?

Virtually anyone can apply. This could be an individual, a company, an association, a broker or anyone who has a website which attracts users that might be interested in our services.

How does the e-go Affiliate Programme work?

You need to apply first using the online application form on the Affiliates home page.

Once approved, you will be given a unique code which identifies you in our system and to which is linked every new e-go registration by one of your customers/referrals. We have developed a sophisticated tracking system which enables us to accurately identify bookings made from referrals made by you to us. The sales from these bookings are consolidated over a period of 2 years and we pay you a trailing commission each quarter from those sales.

Once your application is approved, you will be provided written notification. You can then begin referring customers to the e-go website.

Referrals can be made in the following ways:

You can post out logo on your website. Each time one of your visitors/customers clicks on it through to our website and registers, the bookings made thereafter is linked to your unique affiliate code. We have a number of slick logo's, banners and images available to post on your site, and in different sizes to suit your requirements.
You can invite someone to come to our site by emails sent by you from the Affiliate Resource Centre from the e-go website. Registrations and bookings from these emails will be linked back to your affiliate code.

Can I track the sales of my clients/referrals?

Yes, you will be provided with confidential access to reporting functions within the affiliate members section. You can audit the payments due to you at any time.

Are there any caps on the amount of commission earned?

No. You can earn an unlimited income with the Affiliate Programme. The minimum payment we will make though is $100. If the commission due for the quarter totals less than $100, this amount will be rolled into the next quarter's payment until it reaches a minimum of $100.

Can I earn commission on freight I book for myself or my organization?

No, jobs for yourself are ineligible for commission purposes. Commission is payable for a full 2 years on genuine referrals only.

What is the situation with GST?

Commission is payable on the sale amount exclusive of GST. We do not pay commission on GST. If you are registered for GST, your commission payment will include GST, if you are not registered for GST, no GST will be added to the payment.

How do I put your logo on my website?

There are detailed instructions in the Affiliate Resource Centre as to how to put the e-go logo on your website. There are several slick options to choose from depending upon how your website it laid out.

Does the commission apply to all your products and services purchased from referrals?

Yes.

How easy is it to sell services offered by e-go?

Very easy, we have positioned ourselves with a very compelling service and price offering to the marketplace. Bookings can be made in seconds and we have the best customer service in the industry. We are passionate about providing value for our customers.

Does my website have to be related to the freight industry?

Not at all. Since almost everyone needs couriers and freight services, or knows some one who does, it makes sense to introduce them to www.e-go.com.au. Simply drive traffic to our site and we will reward you.

Are there any hidden costs, extra fees or charges to me?

No.

I have more than one website, can I register them all together?

Yes, you can use the one affiliate account for as many websites as you require. Simply register once. Bookings derived from all your sites will be consolidated into the one convenient tracking account in our system.

How long does it take for my application to be approved?

All applications will be processed within 48-72 hours of receipt.

Am I locked into the Programme for any fixed period?

No, either party may terminate the arrangement by email upon provision of 30 days notice.

If I terminate the arrangement, will I still earn commission from existing referrals?

Yes, unless there has been a substantial breach of the terms of the Agreement, in which case all rights to unpaid commissions will be foregone.

When and how do I get paid?

Commissions are paid quarterly in arrears to your nominated bank account. All the transaction histories of your referrals to us are confidentially available to you online via the reporting options in the Affiliate Resource Centre.
